If your craving Mexican food, then head to Casa La Doña! This authentic Mexican Restaurant started in October 2012 and is the first Mexican Restaurant in Row Gallery. All their delicious ingredients are locally bought in and around DTLA. They carry 18 different salsas that are homemade to pair with different entrees! They offer $1 tacos on their “Taco Tuesdays” and fish tacos for “Fish Friday”. They also cater to vegans and vegetarians daily. They specialize in the Huarache De Pollo, which is of superior size, and loaded with salsa, chorizo, quest fresco, onions, and cactus, which by the way, was my first time trying cactus, exceptionally impressive in flava! My entree also came with flavorful noodle soup and warm tortilla chips. I also had the luxury of trying their freshly battered large shrimp tacos. If you haven’t tried this DTLA Hotspot, then you must, you will leave with nothing less than a smile!
