Love For Crepes!
By gonzalez-girlz | August 24, 2015In need of a little French Flava? Then head to Crepes Sans Frontieres located in the Spring Arcade. I had the pleasure of meeting owner/crepier, Ruth, who originally began her journey in France as she learned the art of making crepes. She then found herself in LA, where she catered her crepes at events and film sets, and eventually made the big decision to open up a little shop in the Historic Core, and become the first staple to enter the Spring Arcade. Ruth is extremely passionate about her crepes and DTLA, and she explained to me how important it is that she uses only freshest ingredients. Her food deliveries are so frequent, coming twice a week, as she has decided never to freeze ingredients. She has a true love for her crepes and quality, so she choses organic buckwheat because they are loaded with vitamins, and are quite tasty. As I walked in I heard French music playing and I felt immediately transported to France, everything about her Creperie felt so authentic! I loved the weekend special La Vietnamienne, which was topped with savory jumbo shrimp with her crispy cheese buckwheat crepe. And if your looking for a refreshing crepe, try the La Scandinave with smoked salmon, dill, and creme fraiche. For Your sweet tooth, you will die over her strawberry, banana, and nutella crepe! As you dive into your crepe of choice, you will be surrounded by French charm. So come for brunch, lunch with friends, or an evening out with the one you love. This fabulous French Creperie is deemed the Jaded LA Business of the Week, and I promise you will adore this DTLA Hotspot!!
