It’s A Must!
By gonzalez-girlz | August 4, 2015If you haven’t been to the Must, then you “MUST” try this DTLA hotspot! Chef Claudio is young and insanely passionate about his food. I had the pleasure of meeting the man behind all the flavors. He finds it important to buy locally, making sure all meat is fresh and used to the fullest, no wastefulness here. His food is anything but boring, the second you try a bite, your taste buds will ignite! Nicole took excellent care of us as she guided us through the menu. I tried for the first time Crispy Pig’s Head Milanese, with braised rainbow chard and San Marzano tomato sauce, so sweet and crispy. I highly recommend this to everyone! The Duck Liver Mousse was a fabulous starter and I just had to wash it down with their refreshing Red Sangria. For entrees, we tried their Orchiette Carbonara topped with a fried egg, and their NY Steak with wild mushrooms and fries, needless to say everything down to the mushrooms were loaded with unbelievable flavor! You can tell he cares about the details in every bite. We finished the evening off with espresso, and for dessert a Chocolate Bar with ganache, sea salt, and house-made honeycomb. My night out at The Must exceeded my expectations! With a perfect ambiance, stellar food, music, and screening films, it’s more than ideal for a night out with friends or a hot date! This menu is always changing, so it will keep you coming back to try something new! It’s no wonder why I had to declare The Must as the Jaded LA business of the week!
