Welcome to Coles, the originator of the French Dip Sandwich! This DTLA Hotspot was founded in 1908
and is located in the Historic Core. If you haven’t tried their juicy French Dip Sandwich, you’re missing out! My favorite is their lamb French Dip Sanchwich with creamy goat cheese, plus you have to try those crispy fries…mmm…They’re totally addicting! We also tried their Trio Sliders, which were stuffed with beef, pastrami, and turkey…Perfect for meat lovers! We munched away on tater tots and a giant warm pretzel, while sipping on an “old school” root beer float. Absolutely Classic! The real treat of the evening, was watching bartender Leandro make a killer Old Fashioned! We snagged a video of the this amazing bartender in action! If you love an authentic Old fashioned, like me, Coles is by far the best place in DTLA for a truly classic drink! They care about the quality of their drinks and it definitely shows in the details. I just had to make Coles the Jaded LA Business of the Week! So grab your friends and head to Coles for original French Dip Sandwiches and superior drinks from their outstanding bartenders!
